We are beyond excited to be moving back!!! We already have our house set and will soon begin the process of getting the kids all signed up for their new school. They have toured the school and seem excited about starting their next school year as "Chieftans" instead of "tigers". Zach and Heidi have both voiced a small amount of sadness in leaving their friends here, but they are young enough that they will quickly adjust and thanks to technology, it won't be hard for them to keep in touch :-) Not to mention that Zach and Drew's best buddies have family in Omaha, and whenever we come here to visit, we have already said they could all have play dates with their friends.
So, where will we be moving to? Yutan, Nebraska :-) We both wanted to be in a smaller town, not too far from Dan's family. Dan will be coaching football and wrestling at the high school and after his student teaching, will hopefully get a job teaching there. We will be living in a large farm house just outside of town that has plenty of room for our super-size family :-). Upstairs, each of the girls will be able to have their own room, and the boys will be sharing the biggest room. We will have a playroom up there as well. Here's hoping this keeps their toys out of the living room! Downstairs is the master bedroom and an office/nursery. There is a basement as well, but there is lots of cleaning to do before we can utilize it.... Here are some pictures of the outside of the house:

The big moving day (well, for Dan and the boys) is June 3rd, just 2 and a half weeks away... Kylie has a dance recital on June 9th, so she, Heidi, Henry, and myself will be staying with my parents for one extra week and then we will move back on June 10th.
Fortunately, I will not have to go back to work immediately. Dan has enough construction jobs lined up over the summer that I will be able to be back at home with the kids, getting the house in order, and enjoying all that summer has to offer :-) It gives me a little bit of time to find a job that I really want too... hopefully that will happen! Dan will start back to school in the Fall through the University of Nebraska at Kearney to obtain his post-baccalaureate teaching certificate. They have an online program where we can live anywhere in the state and he can still "attend" their program by doing all his hours at a local school (Yutan).
In all of our excitement of moving, there is but one major downfall for me... leaving my mom and dad while he is sick. I've been so fortunate to have been so close to them through all of the ups and downs of his cancer thus far. He is at the point now, where each day brings new hurdles for him to jump over and I don't see the journey getting any easier till its end. If you're reading this, please say some prayers for me that I will be able to adjust and deal with not being able to be there at all the points when my parents need me, and that I am able to recognize when I do need to be there vs. listening to updates from afar.
Here's to another new chapter in our ever-changing lives!
