About 2 weeks ago, Kylie finally decided that she was going to stand by herself and give the whole walking thing a try. After about two days of baby steps, and taking 3-4 at a time, she was going full blast all over the house! This is a video of her walking around at my brother's wedding this past weekend...
She's getting be such a big girl, and so much fun... but also a little terror! She is a very mischievous little one.

Colorado Trip
This past weekend, my family traveled to Colorado for my brother's wedding. I was the matron of honor and Heidi was the flower girl. We used this trip to Colorado to our advantage, and turned it into a miniature family vacation... the first one we have ever taken! We had to fight with the weather the whole time we were there, but luckily, the rain held off during the majority of the time we needed it to!
Our ride to the airport was a bit ore luxurious than we could have hoped for! The shuttle we had originally reserved to take our whole group ended up being in the shop, so the company sent a limo instead. That was the only surprise that could have made a 5:45am trip to the airport fun!

We spent the day after the wedding shopping at the outlet malls at Castle Rock! Awesome, I just wish I would have known we were going to go there so I would have saved up some money especially for that place! It is amazing.... The following day, we took a trip up to Estes Park. I don't remember enjoying it so much the last time I went, but the last time I was very hormonal and pregnant with my first... in the heat of the summer... and I didn't get to watch the joy of my chidren's faces when they saw mountains for the first time. Everyone had so much fun, and I hope we can go back many more times.
The kids got to go down the huge slides and then play miniature golf at Estes. We wanted to make sure we got that in before the rain hit for the day.
Then we headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park and let the kids climb on the rocks. Heidi could not wait to climb "the tallest mountain there"!

When we got all the way to the top, we were pretty high up :-)
my babies hanging out on one of the smaller rocks while the big kids took their turn climbing one of the bigger set of rocks...
Once we were done at RMNP, we headed back down to Estes Park to walk around and do a little bit of shopping with my parents. Along the way, we managed to stop for a few candid photos too...
That was enough for one day. Plus, the weather was threatening to get bad at any minute, so we decided to start the hour long trip back to our hotel, and stop for some dinner on the way. It's a good thing we left when we did, because about 3 minutes after we got everyone loaded up, this is what we were met with!
LOTS of hail! At least it helped supply enough white noise that we were four for four on the ride home :-) Very peaceful for Mommy and Daddy
Then, it was time to head back home. We were excited to get back to our house, but at the same time, we were very sad to leave the mountains. We all wished we could have stayed a few more days. There's always next year!

Playing Catch up!
Okay, I realize its been months since I've written on here. I've been so busy, I've done a good job at least keeping up with everyday life. Now, i'm back home with the kids for the summer and things are beginning to slow down. We are all moved in to our new house, which is beautiful! Here are some pictures from when we had our open house (and the before equivalents). First, the fireplace.
